When resistance earns support
Role flips are not automatic. The evidence that turns an old ceiling into a floor.
Textbooks love the flip. Live charts are messier. A close beyond a zone is not the same as a successful retest, and a retest is not the same as a hold through the next session.
We treat flips as a claim that needs evidence: a clear break by your written rule, a return that reacts from the same band, and a failure condition if price walks back through without hesitation.
If you cannot state those three pieces in one sentence, leave the old resistance alone until it earns the new label.
